Smoked Salmon Dip

A little vodka is what makes this creamy salmon dip especially good.  It makes an elegant and easy make-ahead appetizer.


2 cups crème fraîcheor regular sour cream4 ounces smoked salmon, minced3 tablespoons chopped fresh chives2 teaspoons vodka1 dash ground white pepper


Stir the crème fraiche, smoked salmon, chives and vodka in a medium bowl.   Season with the white pepper.  Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until chilled.  Sprinkle with additional chopped chives, if desired.  Serve the dip with your favorite Pepperidge Farm® crackers, mini toasts or homemade potato chips.
