Slow Cooker Savory Sloppy Joes

This reliable recipe lets you put together the ingredients earlier in the day and come home to a delicious dinner sandwich that's sure to become a weeknight staple.  It's also the perfect dish to bring to your next potluck dinner.


3 pounds ground beef
2 cans (10 3/4 ounces each ) Campbell’s® Condensed Tomato Soup
2 medium green pepper, chopped (about 2 1/2 cups)
3 medium onion, chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)
0.25 cup Dijon-style mustard
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
18 Pepperidge Farm® Soft White Hamburger Buns, split


Cook the beef in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until well browned, stirring often to separate meat.  Pour off any fat.
Stir the beef, soup, green peppers, onions, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, brown sugar and black pepper in a 6-quart slow cooker.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours* or until the vegetables are tender.  Divide the beef mixture among the buns.
